I was driving downtown Baltimore the other day and it's gotten ridiculous what with all the school kids back in school, the typical morning traffic, and some random vactioners (including not only our average American family, but some Asain friends, and the Amish). Anyways, it already is pretty crowded and when you get downtown where all the roads are one way, it can get kinda confusing if you are not sure where you are heading. Well, I have learned these roads like the back of my hand. Speaking of hands, the issue at hand is that I was driving down one of these aforementioned one way roads and got stuck behind a cement truck. The trucker had decided that 8:00 AM on a Wednesday morning would be the appropriate time to begin his work and thus cut off all oncoming traffic. Sure, he had a job to do, you say. Naturally, he had about ummm, a gagilion people behind him trying to get to their various destinations. Sheesh. Give a girl a break.
